Matt Crossett

With a B.F.A in film directing in hand Matt departed North Carolina for the city of angels. From creative straight into production Matt spent six years in LA working as an AD, Coordinator and Producer on just about every kind of project imaginable. In the fall of 2013 he assumed the Head of Production position at FASTFORWARD Media; a boutique production company in Durango, Colorado.

Renewed with the chance to express creative vision once again Matt immediately began looking for stories to tell.

"I was ingesting footage from a shoot for our local news program and boom! That was it. I just kept thinking…people HAVE to see this. We raised a shoe-string budget and hit the road. What struck me most about making this story was not the obvious explosive action and life threatening situations but the spirit of the people organizing and participating in these races.

"Adrenaline junkies are a unique breed of people and there always fun to be around. However, these individuals take on the mentality of the cowboy code.

"Respect others.....Honor your word.......Help those who need it.........It’s an unwritten code, but 90% of people who participate in this sport, honor that code." —Dana Stiles - Rider

"100% of the people I met honor that code and that is the spirit of a story I must tell."
